Miley Cyrus Music Video
Message
Hey John, I am an assistant of Miley's longtime collaborator, Diane Martel. Diane is a music video director and multi-faceted creative. Miley is interested in casting you in a new music video shooting 8/11 and/or 8/12 in Los Angeles and Diane has asked that I reached out. Where are you based? Is this something you would be available for? William Nixon

John, If memory serves correctly, we sang together in the chorus at the St. Louis Muny in 1953. I was so pleased to read that you stayed with music and enjoyed such an interesting career. May you sing for many more years. John

Just saying hello and appreciate your song.
I'm trying to learn Bob Dylan's "Tomorrow Is A Long Time", and coincidentally, I ran into your version on the web. It's beautiful, and thanks for making it available to us. I'm also in my 80's, and I want to say you're a great example of how life doesn't stop when you reach 30. God bless and protect you for many years to come.

John, you never cease to impress, amaze, and inspire me. You were one of the first friends my son and I made in Grand Junction. We especially cherish your musical performance at Ben's Bar Mitzvah now some ten years back. I fondly remember as well the times we've hit tennis balls and genuflexed on the alter of the powder tele turn together. May you keep riding and keep skiing and keep inspiring for many years to come! Your friends, Ken and Ben

So lovely to have met you John at the airport. You are an inspiration to so many, now you can add me! The opening of the new Avelon theater with the Grand Junction Symphony was a treat for everyone , including myself. Sorry I couldn't offer you both tickets , but it was sold out. I met many wonderful new people and it was a lovely few days... Hope to meet with you again, Warmly, your performing colleague Lynn Harrell

Hi John, It's a long story, taking root in a contest between my brother Frank and I regarding coincidences. And, I'm not at all sure you'll remember us, but we were two of your biggest fans back in the late 60's:) We hailed from Buffalo, New York, and would take our winter family ski vacations up in Sugarloaf, Maine. You became our ski instructor and friend, regaling us some evenings with your guitar and love of music. I played guitar also, and you taught me a few songs-"Satisfied Mind", was my favorite at the time. Once, my brother and I even stayed with you when we drove up to Sugarloaf by ourselves:) Anyway, one spring, you visited us in Buffalo. It wasn't long after that you left Maine, I think, and ventured west, and we were unsure of your eventual destination but believed it to be Telluride? My brother and I would talk about you whenever we got together. He now resides in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; I remained in the Buffalo area. Well, your name came up again on Dad's birthday (4/2) in a consequential meeting between my brother and Harry Baxter who happened to be visiting Jackson. They began talking, he told Frank about your cd's, so I looked you up and am delighted to know you have created so much music. I'm going to have a listen now:) Anyway, I wanted to send my best wishes along to you and let you know you are so fondly remembered by us. Perhaps our paths will cross some day again. Warm regards, Suzie

John, thank you for helping to organize "Three Guitars and a Mandolin" benefit concert for Dr. Ed Harris, February 19, 2010 at The Chapel at Canyon View Vineyard Church in Grand Junction. I'm pleased to know that Ed Harris will now be able to get a voice-activated computer to assist him in his writing of poetry and essays. Dr. Harris is one of the finest people I have ever known. You, the 3 other musicians, Coffe Muggers, and the Vineyard Church who gave of your time and resources at this concert are to be highly commended. Again, thank you. Sincerely, Joseph Schwarz
